Alternatives Industry is a sheltered employment program that gives participants the opportunity to earn a pay check while learning job skills to help them realize all of their vocational goals.
Located at 588 Broad Street in Oneida, Alternatives Industry contracts with numerous
businesses throughout the region and employs more than 100 participants. The program is fully staffed with vocational trainers who are there to assist participants as they grow into their work, and is located in the same building as our Article 16 Clinic so that participants do not need to leave work for extended periods while receiving other supports. Transportation is generally available in the Madison County area.

LOJO TECHNOLOGY:
Specializes in electrical and mechanical manufacturing and assembly. LOJO’s is also a drop off site for E-Waste Recycling. The E-Waste site collects a wide range of electronic products for recycling according to state requlations. Click here for a listing of accepted items.
